About

Summary

I love stories!

I create value for my clients by using a minimum amount of gear to create a maximum amount of quality in my films. My focus is on the story and proper composition and not the technology. Instead of using expensive gear I repurpose things in my surrounding to work the same way (or better) as the most advanced camera equipment. I am also organised, which I have understood is a unique combination together with creativity and helps me better structure stories.

I have work experience as DOP, camera man, camera technician and editor from Sweden and Australia and have studied film in both Sweden, Australia and USA.

I am very physical active and like to encourage others to also be more active and healthy. People often say I am funny. I am not quite sure why, but maybe because I am not afraid of making a fool of myself. At my university in Sweden I was nominated student of the year. I tend to be credited for my noticeable passion for making films. I believe the core of film making is the story and I am living to tell those stories in the best, most persuasive way possible.

History

-1985
My interest for film has been there ever since I as a little kid run around with my fathers video camera and filmed everything I saw, to then, a few years later, when I started filming proper scenes which I then cut together with an old VHS recorder.

-2006
In January 2006 I moved to Chicago to study Scriptwriting, Acting and Public Speaking. At that time I still hadn't realised what I wanted to do with my life, but I learnt a lot during that time, above all how to analyse and build up a story.

-2007
But it was not until 2007 when I started studying media and communication that I realised that film making was my call. I became the manager for the university TV station and at this time I also started to get paid for making videos. During my student time I worked extra as editor and cinematographer for Blackbox Videoproduktioner AB, Jnytt AB, Jonkoping University and Bolt PR.

-2010
In January 2010 I moved to Melbourne, Australia to finish my studies at Swinburne University. I decided to stay in Australia after my studies so I registered my company and worked on various smaller productions until I in September 2011 was hired as a video editor and digital media manager by 50 Kaliber.

-2015
I recently moved to Stavanger in Norway. The plan now is to retire Ramso Video Productions and start a new fresh company together with my girlfriend.

...to be continued.
